Here a 1893-S MS 65 just sold for 324,000.00 . To far outside my buying range .

 

My 1878's. First two are different 7/8 TF varieties, other is a 7 TF.

looks like the '78's are selling well, here's mine I picked up last month, an 1878 S

 

One of my better date Morgans:

 

Picked this one up a week or two ago. I already have a MS64 in this date and MM, but this looked like a slider to me, so I bought it.

 

And my latest: 1896 MS66. It's every bit a 66. No breaks in the fields, minimal contact marks on the devices and great luster.

The holder is beat to heck and scratched but buy the coin right? I can always get it reholdered.

 

So, you think it's AU but you bought it as a MS62?

 

Interestingly, the coin has been certified exactly 100 yrs after it was minted. If you keep it a bit longer, you should get both the coin and that old ANACS holder certified ;-)
