Yeah, I have always noticed the "you" in the thread title. I always joke to my self "Hey, who are you calling a Morgan dollar?!"

But as long as it is not a harshly cleaned morgan, would it not be a complement?

    What?

j.k but you should have at least one, just to have one of each US coin if anything.

Here is my one and only Morgan. 1890 plain. Grade if you can, as I am unsure. I am saying MS62, but I feel that may be a liberal grade.

I am thinking of a MS60 grade on it.

Well as I said, I felt I was being liberal. I feel safe with an MS60 grade as well.

Just got back from a week in Hong Kong playing with coins over there. Got home and had a couple coins waiting for me. The 1884 has a some nice color for a PL toner. Probably a little dark for some. The 1880-S seems close to a DMPL but some haze probably holds it back from getting it. Welcome any thoughts on these addition to the growing DMPL/PL stash.

I'm still looking for one. This thread helped spark an interest. I like the DMPL but am having trouble finding one that is affordable.

The market is short on DMPL's right now. There are not many in the market except for CC's.

What do you call affordable? :D
It's all about the dates and grades. It also does take a while to hunt them down but they are preeeettttay
