I'm almost positive it would upgrade, but I wouldn't send it in to get upgraded. I want a set of nice MS63's... nothing that someone can question. Lookin' forward to that PM, Chris.
After your copycat guess on Hangman? No way! LOL!!! I used to be able to solve the Wheel of Fortune puzzles 90% of the time with just one letter long before they ever started giving everyone the "R, S, T, L, N & E".
Since the guy on ebay turned down all of my offers, I just agreed to buy this one today for a solid price. It isn't perfect, but my budget doesn't allow for perfection. Very excited to get it, hopefully by Friday.
Looks to me like you won't need to take any pics of that yourself Those pics from the seller are great! A nice coin as well.
Be patient and picky on the CC's, many to choose from. That coin may upgrade but be careful on OGH and DMPL's, there are many that would not DMPL today.
Can't recommend the guy enough... was polite, patient, and easy to work with. Has tons of high quality morgans too. http://www.lsrarecoins.com/ I already picked one out and bought one. It's up a bit on this page. By the way, that 1884 is fantastic, blu.
pics of the 1896 i picked up yesterday. ive seen alot of toned coins but the way this one reverse toned is just lovely. i would send this in for grading if i could be sure it would grade 65+.
Thanks for the link ltrain, I have no idea where I've heard that name before but I know I have! Looks like I'll be browsing his site for a while now, nice stuff.
I see and talk to Larry quite a bit, good coins at fair prices. I just bought a 94-S in PL from him a few weeks ago. I get to see his coins quite frequently which is nice.
Did you right click the image and read the name of it? Right on... PCGS MS63 DMPL. Gonna do a Morgan date set (Holding off on the expensive years for now, haha...) with a MS, PL and DMPL from each mintmark.
Let me know before you buy any of them that are $50K and higher. I'll want to borrow some money from you, first. Chris
