You expect me to read ant-sized type. Geez! That wouldn't even be a "screamer" of a headline for ants. Chris
Chris, did you happen to purchase that 82 CC on eBay? It looks very familiar to the pictures of a Morgan I bought from them a while back.
So those are your pics? Just wondering, I believe I bought my 1884 O MS63 from photos JUST like that. Absolutely identical. Unfortunately for me, I cannot find those pictures anywhere on this site, and I know I posted them once before. Ah well.
My first two slabbed Morgan dollars, and my second and third slabs overall; How do you guys capture good pics of toning? It's all but impossible for me.
Random turtle in the middle made me LOL bigtime. With any luck, I'll have the first of three CC dollars I want to get sometime in the next couple weeks... an 1883 MS63DMPL.
LT, That's why I like buying them at shows or B&M's. You get to take them home immediately. I can't wait to see her. I love the CC's! Chris
I am looking for one... haven't found one in my price range yet. Yours is close to what I want, just a grade point higher... I'm looking for one in the OGH, eBay has a few but they're overpriced by a good $80, minimum, imho.
If my memory serves me correctly, I think I recall paying $400 for this one back when I had a real job. What are they going for on eBay, now? Oh, I was under the impression that it was "in the mail". What other dates are you trying to find? Chris
I basically want 1 1882, 1 1883 and 1 1884 from CC. One in each of MS63, MS63PL and MS63DMPL. Gonna do a Morgan set by date with at least one of each MM and designation. DMPL's are going for $400+, I'm hoping to get one for about $300. Yes, I've got lots of patience. Here's a particularly nice example that's exactly what I'm looking for, but overpriced a bit, imho. I'd pay $350ish, give or take a bit, for it. http://cgi.ebay.com/1884-CC-MORGAN-SILVER-DOLLAR-PCGS-MS63-DMPL-OLD-HOLDER-/290439598341?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item439f8c9105
Ltrain that's a nice one. i think it'd get an upgrade as long as that Frost that is on some of the fields around the eagles head and legs is real. Good eye there.
