I've been using Imgur links on this cointalk forum since I've joined without an issue, today images are not displaying directly. Not sure why this is.

Have you weighed it? I'm thinking the obverse rim, some of the lettering, etc. looks a little iffy.

Looks like you have an 1879 counterfeit 8 tail feathers. Need I say any more. Welcome to Coin Talk. Enjoy collecting.

    Yes
I know the mint plans on striking the Morgan & Peace dollars this year. I'm hopping to snag my first proof Morgan this year. I only hope they use the style used from 1878 to 1904. The 1921 Morgan was crap.

Lower relief, among other changes. I agree with 1865King's opinion.

The 1921 was low relief and few other differences. Take any Morgan dollar from the 1800's and put a 1921 Morgan next to it and you'll see the difference. You can do the same with a Washington quarter. Compare one struck in the 70's to one struck this year. The image of Washington from the 1970's is so much better than the version being struck right now. From what I heard they're bring back the original image of Washington. You can see the same thing with a Lincoln cent from the early 1960's and the image being used now. Why they made them look like crap is an insult to the original designers. I'm attaching an image of 1999 Washington 5 Dollar Gold Coin.jpg the originally proposed design for the Washington quarter in 1932. At least it was finally used in 1999.
