Yeah, but I've been wanting one and I didn't want to buy one attributed already. So finding it in the wild was the best part of it. I'm sure if the dealer knew what it was, he probably would have charged double. So for $20.00 it goes into my collection. Now to find a better condition one.
Keep it up and a great find. If you ever become a lowball collector part of the fun is trying to find VAMs that are a low as possible. The Hot Lips variety is often one that can go very low and still be recognizable.
I've been on the hunt for one of those, I have not found one as of yet. I'd be thrilled to find the 1C3.
Well i just picked this one up. A PCGS MS 63 with great toning. The photography is nice, but not quite clear enough to VAM, so I will wait for it to arrive. Probably needs a name if anyone has a suggestion!
