Yes. Welcome. The 87 gator eye was one of my first too but the 12a clashed version. That and the 91cc vam 3 are the big beginner ones. Are you a VAMmer? If so how experienced are you?

Yes, last year's discovery of the year was a huge one.

 

My 79s 1B2 wasn't too shabby either. Probably came in 3rd. It was a good year to be a VAMmer

Picked up another VAM to go with my Aligator Eye VAM...

 

I like a good circulated '80-cc rev 78. Both dies were re-purposed.

What do you mean by re-purposed?

 

The obverse die was originally an 1879 die and the reverse was an 1878 die.

 

Oh...duh lol

 

Wish she was in a GSA holder which are what I normally target but I liked the look and price was fair.

Want to say this is a different die state than 33A, but markers they don't match up.
