Coin World has reported 1964 Morgan dollar die found at Philadelphia. So you may want to read more about this find . 1964-morgan-dollar-obverse.jpg

A green bean doesn't add very much to the coin, a rattler holder helps it. A gold sticker would be good but if really a 66 and you want more $$ it may need to be cracked or reconsideration in case the grade isn't high enough and you don't want to lose the holder.

CAC could not make that coin any more appealing; it'd be like attaching an Estes rocket engine to a Titan IV. :)

    Thanks :)

The scuffing on the reverse by the Eagle head is actually from the holder too! I was thinking about submitting for regrade since it skyrockets at 64 but I don't want them to reslab at 63 since it's in the "old fatty" holder. Thinking I should just keep as is.

The Blind VAMmer strikes again!

I was too enamored with it being a cc in a period sterling bezel to notice. Boy do I have a penchant for blindly picking killer gouge VAMs or what :)

Another Morgan for me. was going to concentrate on my Walking Liberty halves, but for $24 shipped I couldn't resist.
