...just received and immediately cracked a nice semi-PL 21-s...going to PCGS soon ...here are some shots of the die polish lines galore!
I bet @SuperDave can name that vam without skipping a beat I hope you sent it express cuz I'll be dying until it comes back what was the ngc grade? Why you blank it out, was it details?
she was a 64...the insert literally fell off and inside of the damn scanner at my office when I went to scan a quick shot after I cracked it I think she will get another 64 or maybe 64+ but I want the TrueView and I want her in my set
Nope, what you really want are those 2 little letters after the grade. PL 21's are rare, not unheard of but we're almost talking hens teeth. I don't think she'll quite make it but then again I'm working with scans so here's to hoping!
Nope. There are a number of 1921-S VAMs with heavy die polishing, some not even pictured at VAMworld. I would have thought it easy to find - the lines above RI are particularly prominent and should stand out - but no luck.
A nice trio of CCs. These are the cheaper ones but still... The 1884 has some decent rim toning that was impossible to get on camera
