Rogue and rake, and one early to recognize a profit opportunity. Nothing wrong with that. I've done it in a small way.
@green18 hey sold the last one to none other than DaveMac, often think about my Irish brother from a different mother.
The Brother just dropped out of site. I still miss him. It was a pleasure to meet you and Dave at Gettysburg, my friend. And I gave Frank his hat, along with his compliments to you.
Did he ask the show size ? He was asking me to me it's a medium size show. Compared to Baltimore or local VFW hall shows. Frank can wear his hat on the beach detecting the others won't see him. Yes I truly enjoyed the show made a few nice purchases. The weather was picture perfect.... I'm thinking this will be a once a year trip down from Philly for Dave. He enjoyed the show last year .
It may be a pilgrimage for me as well. The wife thoroughly enjoyed the Artillery Ridge campground. This fellow made an appearance, along the lake,, every morning we were there. Blue Hereon, I believe. (should have employed a tri-pod)
Yes a blue Heron and I would use one in my goose or duck decoy spread, a decoy of course, as these birds are very timmit as to what's around them. It doesn't take much to put one to flight....
These are actually Centennial coins Commemorating the 100 year anniversary of the three iconic coins. Originally struck in 90% silver, these anniversary issues were struck in .9999 gold.
Wow some nice US Commemorative coins all. I saw a couple of the Eisenhower commemorative coins here but not this one. Still sealed in a 1990 Us Prestige proof set I picked up. Most of the marks are on the casing not coin.
I thought about whether or not I would buy this year's half commemorative. I may still pick up the proof. Only a few days left. For some reason I couldn't get the pics to match.
While I still wish they would've done these in silver too, the Mint did a really nice job with those I think.
A huge opportunity to appeal to new collectors was blown by not having a silver option. That’s what happens when Congress micromanages our coinage with the enabling legislation.
