What does something like this run? I have never seen a PL modern commemorative other than the 1994 World Cup coin.

There are 16 82D Washingtons in the census (1 - 64, 5 - 66, 7 - 67, 3 - 68). I had seen the 64 listed on Ebay years ago, but I had never seen any of the higher grade ones. When this one popped up last week, I snagged it. I paid $30 for it, which is way too high, but it was one of those things I had to have. I don't know what the others would sell for, but the Washington is a common coin, so it shouldn't be too crazy.

The only other modern commem graded PL is a single WWII commem in 70PL (I have never seen this coin).

I have both of the World Cup coins in 69PL. Here is my World Cup dollar (154 graded PL, plus another 3 DPL). These are really common in 69PL, and you should expect to pay around $50 - $60 for one.

The red book does not have those options too. Example. Tell me how many sets were produced for the 1988 Seoul Olympics two coins set. One $5.00 gold and one silver dollar. Proof and uncirculated both have that option. For 1995-96 Olympics. That two years even have more options.

Ok. Not complete with options were the year 1983, 1984, 1086, 1987, 1995-96 Olympics.

After two weeks or so searching at the internet and inquire from the u s Mint. I was able to complete and update almost every Mint modern coinage mintages. Except some options from the 1983-84 l.a. Olympics, 1986 Statue of Liberty, 1987 u s constitution and the 1995-96 Atlanta Olympics. Which the mint themself can not give me the statistics. Few years back I used to have all figures. But accidentally deleted. Anyway I am done with this project.
My next project is to organize all my model trains and airplanes collections. Well I also happen to like the paper money. Might start to collect them. Today I saw a guy got 25 pc of used two dollars bill. So I ask the bank teller to exchange me 25 pc too. Actually they limit $50 for each person. Well. Cure little old two dollars bill.

Start a thread in the general discussion forum and show these off. I don't collect trains, but I always like to see model railroads.

2016 Twain mark silver dollar moves higher? Unc $109.95. Proof $99.95. I wondered national park service should moves the same way. Specially the half dollar one. If fact most current issues like its spouse, sets etc mintage were so few. In the long run. The return or profit should be very bright.

Additionally, even the older commemorative coins selling below $20.00. While the one one everage $50.00. That too should be good for investment.

I somehow overlooked this thread, which is one of my favorite categories as the subject matter changes with each piece. Here's a couple of nice looking commemorative pieces.

The 1988 commemorative at one time I had like 10 of them! I was buying them for under $80 each when gold was down....wish I had kept one now.....they are such a nice looking coin. Never had a problem selling get them and that's why I never saved one.

Absolutely gorgeous depiction of Liberty. You can always find one again, just not for $80. :)

Edit for correction: Nike, not Liberty.
