She's not real pretty but I love her anyway! I only have one of these and my nephew has about 20, all found in change, never bought. Some guys have all the luck! Haha!!
Who amongst us hasn’t been burned by submitting a slider? I know I have, though sometimes the TPG is just wrong.
That is not a bad coin to gamble on, if there was a little more separation in the middle band. Not much keeping it from being a $1000 coin, either.
Here is my first and only Mercury dime, a 1939 P. Interesting story behind this one--I found it metal detecting in the side yard of my house (built 1964). The dime is not in the greatest shape (and there's a big shovel scrape at 6 o'clock on the obverse), but I still like it a lot, dull gray tarnish and all. It has "character."
