I was never a huge Barber fan.....but your specimen and a 16 D Quarter I have I love their look with that toning. Especially the reverse.
Wow very nice....I know most dont care for dark coins.....but some designs reall pop with the dark highlights. Larry you amaze me at times with your collection. I know we all appreciate you sharing.
I think this one is my lowest mintage coin. 19,815 for the proof version is what the Redbook calls out:
The following coin was minted in two formats, proof and colorized proof. The colorized proof has a limited mintage of 2,500 which makes it my current lowest mintaged coin. Produced for the 8 members of the East Caribbean Bank by the Scottsdale mint, each member island got it's own design. Mine's the Montserrat issue. Looks as though they are still available on the website, so if the unsold remainder is ever melted the extant pieces would likely be much lower than 2,500.
