    GiJoe_1983MS68RD_o5r4.jpg Here is my NGC MS68RD 1983 Lincoln Memorial. This is the 2nd year of the new composition from brass to copper-plated zinc. It took the mint a few years to get it just right to resolve the bubbling issue. NGC still only grades 5 at this level with none higher. Some nice die polish lines especially on the reverse. Another great picture from Robec.

    IT has a couple small streaks of color, but I absolutely could not catch them. Still it is a 66 from the 20's!
    FWIW, the green is from my camera's reflection.

    Tough year, the gas bubbles were horrific in 83. This is one of the better ones I've found but it has some carbon spotting. It's one or the other in 83!

    Starting to photograph my Lincolns.... some of them aren't as nice as I thought they were. It's amazing what you see when you blow them up on a computer!

    You almost had it. You should have put [/img] at the end of the file name instead of [/url]
