On second look I think u may be right. Those fields are spotlessly clean and I think the noise of abes face may be enhanced by over sharpening of the pic.... I'd send it in.
I use NO post processing on any of my pictures ever...other than to crop/resize them. I do everything purely with lighting, camera angle and distance.
Good heavens, 50% my pics would look like marshmellows unless I sharpened them at least to some degree. The problem with that is that the hairlines and minor noise really sharpen out of ratio to in hand imo... so it's often no always a good idea to go too heavy on the sharpening tool. Anyway, the hairline'ish stuff on abes face made me think that it could have been over sharpened and not really that loud in hand. she's a sweet coin.... Send it to me along with that 15 you had up a week or so ago.. pm me.
I agree with BadThad. Other than using a 40 watt fluorescent light and cropping to size I use no sharpening or color enhancers at all
Hahahahahahaha!!! Way too cool!!! Lincoln loved technology! He was fascinated with the Locomotive... He would've been a great industrialist! Only prez with a patent!
I know that this is redundant, but here is my 26.5" Lincoln Cent Relief. I've posted this about 4 times already in Coin Talk. It took me 125 hours to sculpt. Then about 20 hours to build up the mold. About 2 days for drying the mold once removed. Then about 3-4 days to complete painting and building up body paste in the mold. Then about 2 days for the complete cast to dry... The Lincoln Cent Clay model is made with about 11lbs of Roma Plastalina Clay... I painted the cast, to give a Reddish Brown vintaged patina... I hope that you enjoy!
This one has proven to be a little difficult for me to image. Still trying to figure out the right lighting to use while imaging but its getting there.
BadThad, I know you like business strike proof like Lincoln Memorials so this one is for you. NGC MS69RD Proof Like 2002 Lincoln Memorial currently with a population on 1.
