    I thought I'd add a few of mine: lfCAIIEITM.jpg c29771075-a54.jpg c29881087-a47.jpg The popular '22-D and a couple of impossible to find MS67's.

I would not say they are impossible to find, but they might be impossible to afford. Those go for a pretty penny today (pun intended). Very nice coins!

I had the puzzle 1909 VDB made for me by coincutart.com

He uses an ultra thin blade and cuts the puzzle coins by hand. I sent him a decent uncirculated red-brown 1909 VDB with specific instructions to leave the date and "VDB" intact and on separate pieces. He usually makes cents into 13-piece puzzles, but because of my special request, he made mine into a 10-piece puzzle. Surprisingly, the puzzles are somewhat difficult and pretty much need to be done with tweezers as the pieces are small. But the pieces cut so well and polished nicely so that when properly aligned they fit together very nicely.

I just remembered I also had him cut me another Lincoln coin into a puzzle, a silver IL state quarter which has Lincoln on it:

The day this old penny board showed up, I thought "Great, I can put some of my nice vf-xf coins on display as art on a wall!" The board (now framed) was printed in 1934 and only goes through 1935 which I think is as cool as the coins themselves. I really like how it says to clean your coins with an eraser and vinegar, no wonder problem free coins cost so much today. This set holds a decent 1914 D, 22 plain but could still use a 09 S VDB and a 31S which won't be too hard to find. Really, when a guy starts buying this set in any grade, it can add up fast. Although I prefer Lincoln cents in MS grades, I can still appreciate a well matched set of circulated coins.

I hope the "PENNY" Lady likes it.

If they were PCGS they'd be nearly impossible to find. Just 3 1954's and 12 1947's in MS67. NGC is a lot more liberal with lofty grades, hence the huge difference in their price guide values for these in MS67.

Nice examples for sure! Congrats, RiverGuy!

What do you think of this?

I hoped this would be a nice RD upgrade to a '15-D RB I really liked. But it turns out the seller's photos were dark where the fingerprint was. Grr.

In every other way it is a nice RD Lincoln. But I can't get past the print. I sent it to PCGS for a review, and David Hall wrote to say that he sent it through the grading room twice and it still came back 65RD.

I thought the print was fatal. But PCGS found it acceptable.

I like the RB example better. You?

I am not particularly fond of the color of the RB, but the fingerprint takes away from the cleanliness of the RD, yet the more I look at it, I like the fingerprint and I can't explain why...

The RB is a better (more detailed may be a better word) strike, but in every other way, I like the red better - finger print or not
