I rarely see any of these proofs from when they restarted striking them after a 20 year hiatus. I just like the way it looks.
That is really a stunner. The great thing about a TrueView is it captures the coin in all its glory without a bunch of scratched plastic in the way. Here’s one taken through the holder. (Mine’s only a MS63BN!) And the same thing after removing it. I am sure yours really dazzles, with that beautiful coloring on top of the luster I can see it must display. Congratulations on your acquisition. A first-year, small issue, brand-new dies, and renowned rarity - what’s not to love about this coin!
By the way, I just decided to install a file manager that I can use on my Windows desktop, laptop, iPad, and iPhone. One of the nifty benefits is the attractive way it shows thumbnails of all my pictures in a folder. This is my “1909 Lincolns” folder. I like the way I can see my pictures all at once. (For some coins I have more than one photo with different exposure, so there are some duplicates.) And here is part of my 1910-1919 folder.
