A silvery steel '43. The 4 looks like it's doubled, but it's just an effect of a grease-filled die. It's really strange how a single digit can be affected like this.
Can someone fill me in on what kind of error coin this may be? I'm new to all of this. Just found this penny going through some of my coins
The field marks near the O on the reverse makes me want to guess MS 66. It's hard grading it from the pictures. I'd like to see better resolution pictures with different lighting.
Sorry posted the original pictures a second time these are new. Definately having trouble getting food lighting...
Better light on this last one. Scratches are on the slab esp bad on the reverse. In hand a hit above the 1 in the date but otherwise looks pretty clean. Reveal shortly...
Welcome to Coin Talk. As @l.cutler stated it looks like someone glued two Lincoln cents together to make it look like an error coin. Keep up the hunt.
I think the resolution is lower because the files Bluetooth to my phone from my camera after which I post them from my phone. On the camera they have high resolution and I can zoom way in and see the details. I may have to hardwire to my desktop or phone from the camera for file transfer to keep the higher resolution and larger file size. I got this from my LCS last week for $8.33.
