Sorry about the mis-spelling. I'll try to remember Lance from now on.

I have an old Nikon SLR, but it is the film type. I have been looking for a Nikon SLR digital since I have several lenses including a micr close-up that I could use. However, the prices $600-800 are really out of my ball park at the moment.

I have been considering a Fujifilm Finepic S 4000 - 14mp with 30X optical zoom lense. I think I can get this for about $215.00. But than I think if I don't like the Fuji, I will have wasted $215.00 of the Nikon money.

My favorite in my small collection. A little banged up, but I still love it.

Here's the first Illinois Commemorative I bought... it was pretty and I sold it awhile ago way too cheap :) The coin is often incorrectly called the Lincoln commemorative, but that's cool I guess...

I enjoy threads like this and couldn't resist posting one of my favorites. PCGS MS 66 BN. Early date Lincolns like this are still holding my interest after several years of collecting. Matt

I bought this at the bargain price of $25, which barely covered the sellers cost to slab this beauty.

Only a total of 66 NGC RB star's handed out, and the only one in 47S. As with many *'s, in hand and under 10x is even more dramatic. The absence of more NGC star's in comparison to the NGC morgan star's that are almost common is probably worth a thread of its own. I'd be interested to see slabbed NGC's with no star's that the forum members think are worthy of one.

Anyway, here it is,, as said, much nicer in hand and under 10x loop.. really an amazingly smooth and crystal surface toned coin.

It is a Sanyo VPC-S500. BTW, it was really cheap about 3 to 4 years ago, and it doesn't have one of those enormous lenses you see professional photographers with.
