I haven't seen too many cents with that fiery red deep in the features. Oddly enough, this 1928 also has that, even though it's a different mint. I have since taken it out of the holder, but this is through the plastic.

Just posted this in the "Got Wood" thread too.. Here's one I picked up at the 2016 Fall PNNA coin show this weekend. The vibrant colors you see is an iridescent patina that has developed over the surface of the Lincoln Cent. The reverse has folded lamination right above the N in CENT. When I was first looking at the coin, I thought it was a hit. When I got home I discovered what it really was.
So over the 'n' is a lamination fold because it has started to peel ? What would be the proper termination for the area over wheat ear?
