i have always collected Kennedy's I have rolls of 64 unc's and my dansco book is up to date which is P&D proof's and including silver proofs. But last year I added them all. When I went to the Chicago show I was blocked from getting a show label gold kennedy but to my surprise I bought the unc set and got a very nice SP69. the money I made on the 68's got me the missing SP69. As well as the 2014 sp70 DPL.

Finally got an MS66 at a reasonable price. There is a big price jump from a MS65-MS66.

 

Yeah it Jumps up in this grade!!! But
MS 67 Not easy to find or pay for if someone will let it go.
Outstanding 1970-D Kennedy half.

 

After this one, only one coin left to complete my PF 69 Ultra Cameo Kennedy set - 1971....

Anyone know if those Great Collections stickers come off without leaving a mark?

Thanks - it seems the '71 doesn't come up very often. I've tried to send in a couple I've found in proof sets over the years, but the closest I have come is 68 Cameo Star....

A few years ago, I was able to buy a roll of 20 Kennedys for face. I discarded 2 crappy ones and sold the 18 good ones on ebay.

 

I can get a box of 1000 Kennedys at my bank every week if I want, but it's not worth my time at this stage....

 

Silver halves are about all picked out now 50+ years now if you find one you feel lucky that Someone didn't know there was a different type of metal.
