I love me some Kennedy's too! Legitimately scarce SMS in high grade cameos and ultras. I think these are the next great rarities that are affordable today.
Russ Stringham is the only other person I know of that collects "dot heads". You do know what a dot head is right?
Russ sold his collection years ago. But he will still argue with Marty that they are Birthmark dies not dot heads
Nice coin "Worn Out". Something wrong with it though... there's a big spot on his hair. I don't like it. Other than that, its dirty nice.

I remember the day in 1964 I was standing in line to buy my 1st 1964 Kennedy half dollar it's was a cold February windy day in Philadelphia. 2014 50 years later this one came by mail A lot warmer than 1964.
I understand the UNC rolls of Kennedy's from the mint are machine rolled. But I've never seen so many scratches on a roll before. Look at the huge gouge under his eye. I am a bit disappointed. I'm wondering if the whole roll is like that. I opened the P mint roll and every coin had scratches. I mean A LOT. It was horrid. I was hoping to find at least one worthy to send into grade.
I bought rolls of 2012, 2013, and 2014 all together from the mint last year. In every case, the P mint coins were not as nice as the D mint. P mint coins seemed to be mostly weak strikes and worn dies, while the D's were sharp. A couple of the D's have proof-like mirror surfaces.
