Here are a couple of cameo proof Kennedys that I received in the mail today: a 1987-S and an Early Release 2014-S Ultra Cameo. Is the 1987 a deep cameo?
Picked up this 67 Special Mint Set last week, actually I was looking at the quarter and the dime, the Kennedy half is pretty nice to.
Nice looking coins Paul. From the image it also looks like your Jefferson might have some cameo contrast.
I'm not a collector of theses but since I ordered the 2 coin clad set and will be ordering the silver set I bought these 2 note the sample is a Denver minted coin but not noted on the label
When we were moving out of the house I grew up in a few years ago, my mom found this. It was underneath a built in set of drawers at the end of the hall. The house was built in '64, and apparently it was a custom to place a half dollar somewhere in the house. This one is rough but is very special to me.
My wife inherit her mom and dad home in 2008. We update just about everything found a 1960 cent in back frame of cabinet in the main bath room was 1955 Franklin . Both were Ef /Au there posted on a 2010 or 2011 thread that I cannot find. I have been told a lot of home have found coins in door flames a lot times it's a good luck charm I been told.
That inspires me to get a full set of 1965-67 SMSes. I can get all three for less than $30. If somebody on here can beat that price...
Even with modern Kennedy's, it's no always easy to find high grade coins without a ton of contact marks. They always look nice in hand, until you see them close up in a large image. Here are some that really stood out in the last batch I imaged.
The sample showed up today here's my photos, the coin is much nicer that I expected and the holder is in excellent condition
