I have a few hundred Kennedy's I would love to take pics of for show but I cant take a good pic to save my but. A lot are fine errors that I do not know if I should keep or not I wish I had a dealer here in my area of NY that could look at them for me.

This one has like a star where the mint mark should be plus one inside the 8

these 2 look like a small smudge where the mint mark should have been but nothing there I will stop for now.

    This just arrived today.

    Kennedy 1968-S Inverted S 2586542-028 NGC PF65 Slab ObvD.jpg Kennedy 1968-S Inverted S 2586542-028 NGC PF65 Slab RevD.jpg

    Kennedy 1968-S Inverted S 2586542-028 NGC PF65 MM-02.jpg

    Normal orientation below:

    Kennedy 1968-S MintMark Normal Orientation-02.jpg

The S Mint Mark for 1968 had a flat serif on the upper loop of the S and a rounded ball on the lower loop. The Inverted Mintmark has the exact opposite not to mention that the differences in size of the upper and lower loops is really augmented when the MM is inverted.

This is a tough coin to find. Well, it was tough for me. Hundreds of 1968 Proof sets both purchased and browsed at coin shows with absolutely no luck. I purchased this for a little over half of what my maximum bid was so I'm expecially pleased.

    That 05-P is simply Killer!

I really like the Satin Finish Coins compared to their standard circulating brothers. But the mint started goofing up in 06 after they'd figured out how to cut corners.

I believe that there are a higher percentage of 2005 (1st Year) high grade Satin Finish coins than any of the other years.

    Good Luck with your collection.

    Thanks George!

I've cracked this one out for PCGS's "opinion"! Too Often, PCGS looks at NGC Moderns with a -1 point attitude! Regardless!

If it comes back a 64, I'll live with it but I'd never live with an MS64 Crossover without entertaining a certain level of "why didn't I crack it out"!

I gotta 70-S DDO-005 to send in with it anyway.

I figured you would ... ask for PCGS's opinion, I mean. Tough coin, mine is a PR65 PCGS, pop 3/4.

    Good luck on your crossovers!

So, here's more of my efforts to have the satin finish set...

The issues from Philadelphia look good, but the ones from Denver -- disappointing to say the least.

These are right out of the mint packaging...
