i recently picked up this very large russian 1804 5 kopeks, it's 44 mm and 48.3 g. has a pretty cool edge as well (i'm also a sucker for cool edges), obliquely reeded. i'll post some others later, but feel free to post any large world coins you have.
Sounds like an open invitation for collectors that own Swedish copper plate money to post their photos! One of those "coins" on my wishlist but I hate to imagine if I have a nice collection of them and move them around! Do you also include NCLT or rather have them separate?
i don't know what NCLT means, but if it's "big" and "a coin", then post them up. those are awesome C89, dig those big ol' russians!
I believe that NCLT is an FLA. It stands for Non Circulating Legal Tender. FLA is another acronym. It stands for Four Letter Acronym. Here is a NCLT coin from Dahomey. This 1000 FRANCS coin is 51.5 grams of .999 Silver. It commemorates the 10th Anniversary of Independence. The Obverse depicts facing cornucopias atop supporting arms, with date above & denomination below. The reverse depicts a Somba woman facing (nude).
these aren't really coins, but tokens....notgeld or notgeld related. this is a 52 mm porcelain fundraising token.. this one is 46 mm....
my other russian beasts... neat edge as well... this one is 43.5 mm and 52.3 g this is a 10 kopeks coin, 49 mm and 66.4 g even with a clipped planchet.
2014, $10 coin from Australia. Minted from copper, it weighs 85.25g and the diameter is 57mm. Mintage is 5000. This coin commemorates the winners of the Victoria Cross medal and their names are listed all around the coin.
