Post your Gaius Julius Caesar coins !

    Please post them, I would love to see actual examples people own and not just "for sale" pages on the internet..
    Were they as expensive back in the day as they are today ?

    Also if you want post your Cleopatra VII coins... Just got done watching "Cleopatra" 1963. Now obsessively searching for these coins.

    Sorry I do not yet have one myself to share, but eventually :)

    All Julius Caesar coins. Plus I have one more I have to re-shoot. No Cleopatra coins. These coins have always been on the expensive side due to JC's notoriety.

    Sorry, but I just had to try to re-shoot my JC from Carthage. It is a beautiful coin with old cabinet toning which seems to make it hard to image.

    @AncientJoe : looking at your JC coin, and before I read, I was just thinking "hmm, that one needs an upgrade !" Just kidding of course, as usual a fantastic coin and I will not even mention "the murderer"
