Still trying to get the best angle gentlemen. Boy it's hard to get it focused and get those colors. This pic is more of a straight on shot. I will get the final shot soon. So, here's a teaser.
Stunning coins everyone! I picked this one up last week for about three dollars over melt. My photo is overexposed, the luster is much better than the pictures portray and scratches less exaggerated. It's nothing special, but I really enjoy a good coin at a good price.
Here's mine, just back from an NGC bulk submission (luckily, it has a twin sister, so I can keep one):
I need one more year (1963) to complete a Franklin date set. All PCGS graded MS64FBL. Will post pics once the set is complete.
Hi Slider Id really like to see a good photo of that coin! Have you tried taking the photo by a window using natural light? It's the only way I take photos, it works out really well once you get the hang of it.
Ok here are my only Franklins, I didn't buy them, they were left to me by my great grandfather who worked as a securtiy guard at a bank in Philadelphia. He is where I got most of my US collection. I know there are better examples out there but these are special as are all the other coins that were past on to me. Thanks for looking!!
I just purchased the final coin (1963D) to complete my date set of PCGS MS64FBL graded Franklins. Pictures will be posted later this week.
