Nice. I hated the Ben half until I found two at work and saw them in person in solid but patinaed condition. I liked circulated Franklins better until I bought a proof. Now I like all Benjamins. They do handle aging pretty well for a silver coin.
Here's my newest Franklin. It's a perfect replacement for a 58 D I sold last year. Here is the one it is replacing.
Jello I clicked "and do not have permission to view this page". Lovely '58-D Bsowa!!!... classic toning for that date/mm. Great pickup! That's a Very clean MS64 '60-D. Great pickup!
That's a pleasant '48. Here's a PCGS MS66 Franklin I got for my NGC Registry set. Paper/cardboard mint sets stopped in 1958, so it is much more difficult to get nicely toned Franklins from the 1959 - 1963 era. IMO this is definitely an album toner. The images are by Bob Campbell, and I think he did an excellent job. I've included pix that highlight different aspects of the coin. Just as an FYI, the price differential between a non-FBL and an FBL at this level is ~ 50 X, so I'm very happy with this one.
