Purchased this one in Baltimore:
The coin is much more colorful than it looks in this picture.

 

I was taking some pics for eBay and figured I might as well take some pics of some of my Franklins as well.
These are all raw. A 1950 , 52, and 54 S.

 

A nice 53 D with an absence of bag marks, which plague Denver issue Franklins.

 

Bsowa, those blast white Franklins you are posting are freaking awesome! I bow to you and your collection, good sir!

Thank you, dimeguy! I've been at it for a couple of years now. I am always on the hunt for some nice high grade raw Franklin's, attractively toned or white. I almost have one whole page filled in a binder, it looks nice.

I hope you like them Paul, the 52 is especially nice!

An end roll toned 51 S.

 

I work at a convenience store, and all three of these well-worn veterans were spent by customers when I happened to be working. My jaw hit the floor when they handed them to me. Needless to say, the halves never even got put in the drawer. I put them on top of the register and bought them as soon as the customer left. I love the patina on these coins. I love the small eagle on the reverse, and the story behind the eagle. I didn't really like Franklins until I got these, and now I love them. I had only seen them in pictures of them, and they look much better in person.

 

That 53 has a nice look to it. Is it a D mint mark? Congrats on the finds, bugo!
