It is a 20 Euro gold coin from Ireland. The literature states "the four intricate interlaced design celebrates Ireland's Influence on European Celtic Culture with four figures meeting in the centre of the coin in animated conversation representing the ability of the Irish to communicate.*** Each figure holds in its hand an item that references a different aspect of how Ireland has influenced and inspired European Celtic Culture;* literature, music, construction and new technology."

My favorite coin usually seems to be the last one I purchased. This one was more temptation than I could resist last night...
Insomnia and ebay...bad combination on a Saturday night.

My Favorite is the New Zealand 50 cent, i love the grander of the Endeavor on the back and how the 50 numerals are placed
