It's a decent price. The set of 4 raw can be had for a little under $7 right now. If you were then to send them off to grade, it would be at least $17 per coin at NGC plus shipping, and invoice fee (let's estimate around $85 total). So you would have to spend over $90 for the coins and grading to have a chance of MS 70. That makes the listing decently priced.

I have seen one set of 4 graded MS 70 sell for about $75. So, if one watches the auctions, a deal may be possible. However, if one wants it now, $130 isn't unreasonable.

No idea how NGC judges it.
My thinking would be similar to any coin: no scratches, nicks, etc.

I believe the view/perspective, is, you are viewing the ghost ship approaching, from a window/portal of the ship you are on. (I think anyway)

I think you're right, it does have the porthole look like the ship is approaching you. Their creative team did a very nice job coming up with that concept

@Chiefbullsit , would like to see a few of those holographic Carr pieces, and anything else unusual you might have, if you don't mind. I'd like to think that this thread Will be worth revisiting from time to time, so adding those beauties would be cool. Also goes to others reading this, if it's unusual in your opinion, no limits, post it. :snaphappy: :)

This is one of the more unusual "plastic ivory" token that circulated. Cocos (Keeling) islands now administrated by Australia despite being geographically closer to South East Asia.
