I am a fan of some of these less common metals. While I no longer have the whale, I do have coins made from titanium, niobium, and tantalum in my collection.

 

While I'm on the theme of niobium, here is a privately made medal/token. The total production is 42, it was made by the Penny Press Mint from Utah, and Anacs will grade it!

 

I am too and really like a lot of examples in this thread. Even if I don't like a particular issue I appreciate them pushing the limits and the products that may bring in the future.

I have to admit, I've not seen these before. Can you post more pics when you find them???

Edit: I just realized that they must be very opaque. That explains the look. At first I just thought they were poor pics.

A space medal from my father's golf buddies gave me 2 of these medals... where 25% of the metal was flow in space...

This is a cool set! Raw they can be had for a very reasonable price. The 70 graded examples initially had a large premium (from MCM I believe), but lately can also be had for decent prices.

Here is one of the coolest looking hologram coins I've seen. Another member posted this, and I liked it immediately. I'm glad i was able to find one reasonably priced.

 

Wow, didn't know they actually graded these things...well, if sandpaper can get a grade, why not...

Would you call this a good price for the set??? For all in 70, it doesn't seem too bad to me.
