    Obv: Brahmi legend "... Ya-na Sa-Ta ..." ("[Rano Siri] Yana Sata[kanisa]"); Tusked elephant with trunk raised
    Rev: Satavahana symbol (cross with circles) AKA Ujjain.

    My only ancient elephant is (seller identified) a fals from the Umayyad Dynasty (AD 661-750). Rather ugly, but I only paid $2.99 for it. IMG_8748.JPG IMG_8751.JPG
