Yeah, this one is kind of tough, partly due to the low xf grade so the doubling is hard to see. Usually you look for the ropes on the bale, but they are too worn. The vertical stalks of the wheat shock below the binding are clearly doubled. Star 13 is too if you look carefully. Liberty's left thumb has an extra outline. It's hard to see the doubling in the letters of LIBERTY, but it's there. It is attributed as DDO on the holder, for what that's worth.
It's also how they tell the difference between a DDO and a MDO . Take a look at the Coneca quick chart I posted . http://varietyvista.com/Variety Master Listings/jefferson doubled dies 1944-1945.htm
What a pain that was trying to identify DDO's and DDR's when that for the most part was the only combined rederence.
Hello sir I have a question for you and was wondering if you could possibly give me your opinion does this look like an rpm to you
It almost looks like stamps or layers on the nine and zero in some pics In some pics it looks like a d/d in some the reason I posted this here is you were showing a similar penny!
It won’t let me look closer at pic when I’m selecting which to send so I end up sending the ones that don’t show what I’m talking about well I cannot even tell if I’ve sent the same ones the system here is a very poor one to have to work with
