Now thats roll searching. Tired of the thread of just looking at the coins 3rd side. Nice to see something 64 and above that not just cuz it's silver. I get the silver thing but. Lets use this roll searching thread for something other then just silver hording.
1974-D Eisenhower Dollar WDDO-002. This is the coin pictured on Mr. Wexlers' site. I discovered it myself. http://doubleddie.com/2306337.html For Eisenhower Dollars you tend to look for notching in the letters of the devices. Mostly in IGWT and some letters in Liberty. Here are some close-ups I shot myself. You can clearly see notching in the lettering. On this coin Most of the Doubling is in IGWT. These next 2 are from the same coin. I am not sure why Mr Wexler did not shoot these. The E in We. And the number 4 in the date. For those of you that have searched Ikes you probably have seen notching like this on many of them as it is quite common. Finding one with notching severe enough to list is the hard part.
Darn. Still can't believe you might of found thAt one Or first ike. Looks like your the only one lucky enough. First for me. In all honesty. Ohhhh sorry thought this coin was yours. Mighty glad you took the time to show and learn us some IKE info. We almost forgot mr. Ike
It is. It currently resides in a 2x2 waiting to be sent to ANACS along with a letter from MR. Wexler explaining what it is.
