Not if they have to be overstruck on draped-bust dollars, please. It's not like there are tons of culls that nobody will mind seeing reworked.
My high relief, high grade 1919 overstrike Peace dollar arrived today from Carr. Broken sword reverse.
@Chiefbullsit Funny thing I had 2 shipments one was registered mail and one 1st class. The registered mail arrived today, I still waiting for the other.
Haha, my First Class just arrived and Registered package probably Monday. 2019 Silver Owl Octagon, my favorite design so far. 3 ounce Merlin, Hand Poured Bar
I just put my 50 mm 2019 Liberty in a slab. I have a couple of 45 mm slabs so I modified one. I must admit I made the hole a little to big so I used a 50 mm capsule as a bushing. View attachment 924170
Wow, awesome coins! Congrats! I heard a rumor that ANACS was going to start giving more 70s to his work.
Thanks TC. I think they got tired of hearing about ICG giving 70s on O/S pieces. I don't blame them, smart move.
Maybe, maybe not. Depends how ANACS handles re-submissions. For starters, I think ANACS should offer free re-grading for MS69 Carr overstrikes graded by ANACS prior to, say, January 2019. Then, if a Carr overstrike re-grades MS69-to-MS70, reduce (or waive) a re-holder fee if you're the original submitter.
There are a lot of 70's in 69 holders that's for sure. I have a few that are absolutely flawless and have been told as much by an ANACS grader at a coin show. For the Carr issues, I have used ANACS more for authentication than grade.
The 2009 proof silver eagle was done, is there any plans to make other proof coins that never were such as 1965-1967 sets?
