Poor Frank only logs in like once a week. He must have missed the other 2 times this was addressed in this thread.
Frank, Imagine a thread from a Blue Book advocate that mandated: Post your Red Book comments (HERE AND NOWHERE ELSE)!
Added this Merlin to my collection, it's the 40% Ike O/S. The reverse is too cool which shows parts of the host coin. The star and a half on the earth took the place of North America....1 of 11 made.
Mailman just dropped off another Merlin, the Morgan O/S. Shows numerous signs of the host coin. It's a 1883 or 1888, hard to tell. The obverse is killer, the 4 stars and Liberty are my favorites so far. IN GOD WE TRUST looks better than photo suggest. One happy camper here. Hope to get better pics in the weeks to come.
I'm sure they'll be on his site when he's ready and I assume he'll probably have some at Denver ANA too, if he's struck a batch by then.
If I'm feeling generous, I just may leave some for you. I'm talking about anything that might be a "show attendees get first crack" item. Booth #331. A portrait and shrine to @BooksB4Coins will likely make it easy to find. Nobody does more free marketing for Dan than "Books" does, after all.
The last time I hesitated over a show shown D.C. item, it was a fantasy dated Buff-nick I passed on. Won't make that mistake again.
Well *I think* he said he might be digging into some of his older issues to sell at ANA so maybe you'll luck out and he'll have a buff. Don't take it as gospel though. I just think I remember him posting something to that effect.
