True but you get a 70 and you hit even richer paydirt. I was really hoping one of the Morgan's would get a 70 though so I could finally own an ms70 Morgan lol

ANACS might hate me, I've never gotten a DCARR 70 from them

I've only gotten 1, on the 2016 silver 1.5oz owl. They don't like to give it out much but I thought I might have a shot at another with a 20 sub :drowning:

  6. Tell me about it. Sometimes I think their Carr labels are already preprinted MS69 for high grade examples and MS64 for bulk handled. TC

I've actually had that thought before myself. Far more should be getting 70s than do

  8. I saw the pic you posted of that 70 and mine looks better and only got a 69. :rage: Don't get me wrong though. I am very happy you got the 70 and hope you score big bucks on it. :) I just wouldn't take their 69 vs 70 grade too seriously. TC

  9. On my last submission, I submitted directly to an ANACS rep/grader at a show. He looked at my stuff under the lights and with magnification and told me that my 1917 Peace, my 1964 Morgan, and one other item were flawless and easily 70's but all three came back as 69's. Sounds like labelgate to me...lol. I don't care though. Just want them in the slab and authenticated. TC

Did you send in the ASE O/S and if you did what was the grade? I still haven't sent mine in yet. Almost have enough to send in on the next special.

Yep, I saw that one last week, he wanted $230 then dropped it to $220. Ya done good and only 50 were made. These are going to strong hands, I see them going up in value over the next few years. Can't wait to send mine in.

Whoever sold that for 220 let it go to low

Bless his heart. For 10% ebucks it really cost me 202.67.
    That $22.00 I'm sure I'll find something.

I've only received 1 70, that's one of the reasons I don't bother to send them in anymore, I just self slab. Walking Liberty 2016.jpg 1917 2017 Hard Times Reeded 3a-horz.jpg

  16. Has anyone ever heard of an Carr "overstrike" getting a 70? We have an owl and a centennial token in this thread getting 70's but no '64 Peace dollars, '64 Morgan dollars, '17 Peace dollars, etc.

That idea is starting to look a little more appealing unless ICG actually grades them.

I found some ICG ones, but haven't found any ANACS ones for the overstrikes so far.

Is there a page on his site where all the new releases appear, or do you have to look at each "category" for new items?

    Newer ones appear first usually.

So going to the main page is sufficient, you don't have to check each category on the menu on the left?

Just a sorting feature for new things or historical info for old
