Post your coins from Panama

Hello and welcome to the forum. The 1904 50 centesimos is 36mm, the 1947 and 1953 Balboa are 38.1mm, I would assume the 1966 Balboa would also be 38.1mm. Krause is known have some typos and sometimes is just wrong.

OK, just to show off, I couldn't rest until I had one of these (131 gram) 20 Balboa pieces.

Here are some nice 1904 uncirculated coins. They came in a nice case marked "PROOF."

 

Nice coins. Would be even nicer if they were "Proof". My information shows that only 12 each were minted and that set would be worth several Thousand.

Here's another unauthorized Balboa.

 

Here is a pattern coin that I haven't been able to find any information on. Never seen another like it. Believe that it is from 1907 by the style. Anyone out there know anything about it or care to express an opinion?
