    Nice 1947:cigar: look MS-60++++ Helmet&Breast show no wear:pompous:
    US Tpg are hard on world coin grading:nailbiting: I would only get a good holder or send it to Anacs when they have a good Free return S/H deal.But I am NOT an Expert

    It's a really nice unc coin. Getting it graded will just cost money and it will still be a really nice unc coin. :)

    Getting a coin graded is a great idea for the top 3 graders. Buy the coin, not the slab. Only time I buy the slab is, can't get it raw at AU/BU and the price is a steal.

    Thanks. Its massive. Over 4 oz and 2.4" in diameter. If you had two of these, you could safely chuck a tire on a Peterbilt lol

    The coin has power to the design. I always liked these coins.

    Is this one being so big one of the ones Franklin mint issued?
    I recall that they were very big. .

    Thanks jello... I was guessing - 1916 AU 55 and 1940 MS 63.
    but... I do tend to over grade sometimes.

    I only have 2 coins from Panama. Actually, I guess that is 1 1/2, since this is only a planchet:

    Also, somewhere I have an "unauthorized" coin from Panama that I first read about in one of Mike Diamond's Coin World articles. I need to look that up again. I found it rather fascinating at the time.

    Yes Jello. They also made the Jamaican and Papua New Guinea coins from that era (70s/80s). I'm sure they made more but I know about these because I had them.

    Do have the wooden box and the books that came with this.
    They definitely have become like that low mintage to plus melting.
