I have two albums just like this. Almost complete series of pennies, half pennies and farthings going back to 1860. Full series of all non-silver predecimal coins. And select older silver coins. I sold off a lot of the older silver and just kept the ones in the best condition.
While this is technically bullion, it's my favorite Mexican piece. 2016 2 ounce libertad. It's my largest and heaviest numismatic piece currently and it's in a huge NGC MS69 oversized holder.
Here is a copper "SUD", issued by Morelos, 1813, during the Mexican War of Independence. This coin is a "cherry pick", from the 1980's, when these coins were plentiful. I have a few silver examples that I hope to photograph soon.
Here's a Mexican Libertad from 2018, only 1500 minted and in my book that's rare plus it's 24k! Oh and let's not forget my gold Aztec Token, 22k and since the price of gold has risen so has the popularity of these small gold Tokens!
Mexico is my primary focus. I've been working on a type set and Cap & Rays for a few years and plan to share a long post at some point. For now, I didn't see this type posted yet so here goes.
Here's one of my favorite hook neck 8 reales, from Durango and purchased from Freeman Craig in 1982. Mexico, 8 reales, 1824 RL, Durango. Defiant snake type. KM 376.1 26.03 grams
