I've learned to not ask for coins for Christmas as nobody in my family has a clue as to what is what. So, I usually send them links to books on Amazon I want. Of course, cash to purchase coins myself works just as well.

Or a CC gold coin, any year or grade will do. Might as well go big!

I'd appreciate anything that a thoughtful friend or relative gave me. To me it really is the thought that's the most important thing. Even if it wasn't a coin or piece of currency I'd buy, I would still be very grateful that they went out of their way to make me happy.

I'm boring, the kids get presents, I opt out of presents as it's no big deal to me. As long as I have some coffee while watching the kids have a blast and fun, that's what makes the day important.

Nah, I'm gonna just buy from eBay. I see a real nice one graded NGC G4 for $99.99 that I'm gonna buy myself for Christmas.

Perhaps another MS-64, 65 Franklin (P mint) to keep my little collection of Philadelphia Franklins going. I only have two years so far, but they're nice. If I add another one at Christmas, I can't complain.
