The die work matches very closely that of another unknown issuer who stamped coins &quot;Try Corey&#039;s Ointment&quot;. These were probably issued by him as well. I have two of the &quot;G.W. Corey&quot; counterstamps but none of the &quot;ointment&quot; stamps. While I&#039;m not 100% sure he issued both stamps, I found a fair amount of circumstantial evidence that indicates he did.
