I still do not have any CC Morgans, but last year I was finally able to add these two seated cc-halves - an 1871-CC and an 1878-CC to my collection.
The 1878-CC half in particular is a coin I had been looking for for a very long time. This one fits the bill perfectly.

Thank you,I was kind of looking for a toner for my type album and once in awhile I search toned or color on ebay for whatever group I am looking for,and long behold I saw this one, I wasn't planning on buying it,but after missing out on a toner trade at the Baltimore show in April,i wasn't about to let this one pass me by!

Bought a GSA 1883-CC for $175. Sent in to ANACS and came back MS65 PL. Sweet!

Yeah, it actually sold thru Heritage in Sept. 2005 for $1,610.00...but I didn't pay that much for it.

I should have bought more of these years ago. At least I have one.

Very interesting coin! Until I saw your pics, I hadn't realized how far apart the two C's are. Now you just need to get an 1876CC!

I think that would require me to go back to work and I really do enjoy retirement.
