I was pleased by it to say the least. Purchased it from quite a pro with trade dollars.:)

image.jpeg image.jpeg Not always. There was some good coins mixed in there. You just had to sort thru a lot of crap. Many that I bought had beans or got one after

Thanks. I'm glad you forgot about it cuz I got it for straight 66 money. I was shocked to say the least with being a +, cac & the color. Figured I just got lucky

It was a choice between that one and the one I got. I almost was ready to buy both. Glad you got it. It is beautiful.

I don't have a CAC graded coin. I paid to have my coins graded, NGC and PCGS does a great job. I don't need another person who might not grade objectively. There is enough of that in PCGS and NGC with graders who might have a bad headache, deeply in debt or his wife is abusive. PCGS has a series of graders that study the submission. Paying CAC to re-grade my coin is like paying another high tax.

Depends on the coin. The CAC game is exactly like the tpg game, just another complex layer to it and the hobby. As the right coin grade with the right cac sticker can give you a huge ROI... In coin terms CAC is to TPG as VAM is to Morgans

The only problem with CAC coins is that some sellers think a green bean justfies a 50 percent markup.

    Dude too! Lol

Is purple the most common color on early wheats? I'm thinking of picking up an ms 09vdb with a touch of "purple haze" on both sides very similar to yours

I don't know, but when I got this coin in hand, I knew it was a CAC waiting to happen. And it was indeed!
