I agree that ldhair has won any sort of contest. Beautiful coins and renderings! I only have 2, but I love them both madly. One's in my physical dansco, the other slabbed and hidden away. I got some help from folks here before buying the raw one. And jumped all over this beaming lady for her general loveliness and despite scratch. Much nicer in hand than its EF details designation would suggest.
1818/7, the wife said, did you know the stimulus deposited? I said really? She said yes we got $$$... ok let's buy a new coin then!
I just got my collector application for CAC approved. I should get my welcome packet mailed this week. I have some of these I'm sending in. This is one!
You possibly just mis-typed, but I believe it's O-105. They share the reverse (E), but the points on the 1's (in the date) are small & blunt.
Yes but the 105 doesn't have die defects around the cap. The 106 does. If you look by the cap on mine it shows the defects.
I see what you mean, but check this area out. I feel 105 matches better. Also, star 13 points squarely at a segment on 106, your coin does not.
You know I'm at home now with the coin and the book and the site and I think you could be right. But the difference being my ones both show recutting. The 105 has this the 106 doesn't. But it is hard to see the recutting from the photos.
