I can't figure out how this one didn't at least get PL, let alone a DPL! Either way, it's a very clean, highly reflective coin I'm happy to own.

It is close--the reverse from that picture is marginal for PL. The obverse is definitely close to PL. What I can't understand is how it didn't grade 67.

Difficult to find these dates really nice and bright:

This is probably the nicest cameo Merc I've ever seen. And I've looked at a lot of them!!

I respect your opinion, but in hand it definitely has the reflection on the reverse. You can easily read 2 inches, but in the end, it's okay by me. I love the coin and am happy I won it.

Thanks! And it is honestly even frostier in hand - there are no breaks whatsoever. Of the designated cameo coins I have seen, many of them are only marginal at best (especially in NGC plastic).

It's funny, I prefer blast white silver coins, too. Some people look at me funny when I say that. The hard part is finding blast white coins that aren't cleaned!

Of course, some folks say that anything blast white has been cleaned before. The trick is finding ones where no one can tell they are cleaned.

No different than some folks say that most toners are AT. The trick is finding ones where no one can tell that they are AT...:D
