    To continue my thread hijack. I don't even know where this particular 1927-D ended up in terms of price, but if it's a racket this guy has going on, it's a lucrative one.

    I'm amazed at how readily people will part with a thousand bucks for an uncertified coin with just one pic of each side. He must have a very good rep, or something.
