Although issued only as a Proof; only part of the original production of 24 can be accounted for. There are two 1894-S's in G4 and AG3. You may have "The Missing Link"... anything is possible. Submission to a top tier TPG is highly recommended.

    Looking forward to your images.

technically, the two lower grade pieces are Proof-4 and Proof 3.

Some ballers and shot callers in this thread. My Barbers pale in comparison, and all my local dealers ask way too much for their Barber inventories.

....technically... you're correct ... personally, after PR 50 - the next lower grade in my minds eye is XF 45.

Didn't you know that Mike has three collections? One for toners, one for blast white and one just to keep them out of the hands of other collectors.

As a matter of fact cpm9ball, I do have three collections of Halves. One set of Quarters and
up and until last month two sets of Dimes.
I just sold my duplicate set of Dimes.

I'm constantly upgrading the better set of Halves
[ and now, I need four dates to upgrade the best set ] and the undergraded coin slips into the 2nd best set. My 3rd set is my Dansco Album.

All three sets of Halves are complete and I'm not cracking anything else out for the Dansco. Approximately One-Third of the coins in the
    Dansco are "crack-outs".

Okay - I don't need to defend my actions - I'm a compulsive collector - and I'm always looking for AU 58's for all of my sets.

I left off with the 1893-O Half in my better set - here's another 1893-O - from my second set:
