Although issued only as a Proof; only part of the original production of 24 can be accounted for. There are two 1894-S's in G4 and AG3. You may have "The Missing Link"... anything is possible. As a matter of fact cpm9ball, I do have three collections of Halves. One set of Quarters and up and until last month two sets of Dimes. I just sold my duplicate set of Dimes. I'm constantly upgrading the better set of Halves [ and now, I need four dates to upgrade the best set ] and the undergraded coin slips into the 2nd best set. My 3rd set is my Dansco Album. All three sets of Halves are complete and I'm not cracking anything else out for the Dansco. Approximately One-Third of the coins in the Dansco are "crack-outs". Okay - I don't need to defend my actions - I'm a compulsive collector - and I'm always looking for AU 58's for all of my sets.
