Sorry to see you leaving the hard work behind. But you will be taking on the harder work once you hit that horizon. Raise the child well and treat the wife like an angel. Hope to see you here often in the future. It has been great knowing and talking to you. ~Cannyn
We all wish you well, you are a pleasure to be associated with. Best of luck with the Little Potato and the new home !!
Good luck with the new house and baby. Hopefully you'll continue to pop in; you've been a big help to me and I enjoyed your insight and looking at the coins you posted.
buddy, nice detail on that 25c'r. Looks to have VG detail. It has been dipped before in it's life, but not a big deal.
Yes, JMW did get the lion's share of the raw collection - but I kept the 1902-P - plus another half dozen others that I couldn't part with.
Just did some horse trading with Liz and I ended up with an upgrade to my 1905-O in PCGS 25 [ which I feel is undergraded ] for this coin that I feel is a little over graded...
Its only money ... it'll be at the ANA Summer Seminar next week - and it could be pried out of my hands ...
Well, I went a little forward in the world. Even though I went down kicking and screaming, I bought an iPhone. So I decided to try it out imaging some of my Barbers that I kept that are not imaged in my registry set. I think it does pretty well. I probably could have captured the 05-O and the 01-O a little better, but oh well. And yes, there is a hair on the reverse slab of the 05-O. I am too lazy to re-image it. Enjoy.
I got some barbers recently. Nothing high grade, but interesting, none-the-less. Here's 3 I've imaged. I need to play some more with my cameras and lighting. I keep trying to get the essence of the coins, but it's so hard. I love the toning on the back of the 1898, and I want to know if my 1907 can grade under a AG3... somebody, pls help me on that  Oh, and the 1898 also has a nice little die crack at K10.
